If your Enterprise Agreement is about to expire and your employer is getting ready to start negotiations, they MUST provide each employee with the Notice of Representational Rights (NERR).
If you have received a NERR from your employer, and you wish to nominate the ITU to be your Bargaining Representative, you must complete the below Instrument of Appointment and return it to the ITU as soon as possible.
Please note- you must be a member before we can represent you.
Instrument of Appointment (IOA)
The IOA is required per section 178 of the Fair Work Act 2009 for any bargaining representative that is not the default union.

Once submitted, the ITU must provide the IOA to the employer to start negotiating the Enterprise Agreement.
